Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation awarded a $10,000 grant to North Valley Career-Tech Center for its welding program/SkillsUSA Community Service Project. Grafton Parks and Recreation partnered with the welding program to fabricate nine additional Frisbee golf standards to complete the 18-hole course in Lestikow Park. Using the grant funds, the welding program was able to purchase two new welders, a band saw, and two welding helmets.
